Why I cannot see the balance in my payments report?
Payments represent the wire transfers you want to make. This could translate into a transaction in your bank account or not.
For example:
- if you try to make a payment without enough balance in your account, you will see the payment as failed but no entry in your bank account. Payment details won't show a link to the statement, since it simply doesn't exist.
- If you try to make a payment and it's successful you will have a payment and and statement in your account. In both details, payment's and statement, you will see links to navigate from one toe the other.
- If you try to make a payment, it is successful but for any given reason, the money comes bank from the destination bank, you will have one payment (first in confirmed state, then as rejected) which will be linked to two different statements in your bank account: first a debit, hen a credit. This sound odd but it happens from time to time, specially with non-instant transfers.
This is what we normally call, Payments and Transactions.
If you need to get a report with all the statements of your bank account, then you need to go to the account and download the statements from there.
